Individuals with chronic diseases and mental health conditions often experience work-related problems, leading to negative consequences at individual, national and European level. The rising prevalence of persons with chronic diseases and mental health conditions as well as the current economic crisis make this issue even more problematic, requiring action in terms of innovative strategies to improve the participation of these persons in the labor market. The answer comes from the Joint Action Chrodis Plus. The Traning Tool Promoting inclusivness and workability for people with chronic conditions developed by Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta , under the coordination of Matilde Leonardi in under testing in 10 European Countries and will be available in 2020.
